Quote of the Day: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe).

Hey guys,

Today I chose a quote by the author Goethe.  I thought this quote was significant because it shows how many people interpret greatness and inspiration in our society.  Our society encourages people to “dream big” and to work hard so one day those dreamers can inspire a new generation.  Do you think a dream can be “too small”?  Do you agree with Goethe’s interpretation of dreams?  Can our dreams inspire others?

  1. I think our dreams can indirectly inspire others. Also, although a dream can start small, it can be magnified as we spend more time building it and moving towards our ultimate goal.
I like the set up of your blog – great work!

  2. I don’t think the “size” of the dream is as important as the fact, that we continue to dream and not become complacent.
